Can someone help me out. I have a good idea for a invention. I am a little confused about the patent process though. If you file a patent application and then market what you invented, how will you be gauranteed a patent from the patent office of the US, or any other country, when someone in another country can copy your product and then file a patent in there country and claim to have invented it first? Do you have to wait until the patent issues before you can market the invented product. Thanks in advance, Roy
