: If a name of an airplane is not registered, for instance the Cessna "SkyWagon", can it be used to describe and advertise my product, which is an identical copy? If no patent is filed, can I legally produce an exact copy?

: The airplane is no longer produced by the company that used to make them.
There is no yes or no answer, the law and facts must be carefully be considered. If you are wrong there is big trouble. As far a a patent is concerned, it is not likely that one patent would cover an airplane, other than what the Wright Brothers did.
