I have registered a company name as a trademark with the PTO. I have several slogans that I want to use in association with the aforementioned
mark.
As I have not yet filed for mark protection for these
slogans, can I establish common law rights prior to registration by using them in promotional materials and on a soon to be launched website?
Is there a way to document a date of first use for
the intellectual content on a website?
Or should I be prudent and not use them in any form until I file an ITU?
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
