: I have registered a company name as a trademark with the PTO. I have several slogans that I want to use in association with the aforementioned : mark. : As I have not yet filed for mark protection for these : slogans, can I establish common law rights prior to registration by using them in promotional materials and on a soon to be launched website? : Is there a way to document a date of first use for : the intellectual content on a website? : Or should I be prudent and not use them in any form until I file an ITU? : Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
