I already have the patent. I also have evidence that a fortune 100 company could be infringing upon it (based upon past and present technical publications; I don't know what a judge would think infringement is, thus the term "could"). So.. the next question: Assuming that I can get a contingency deal going with either a law firm or a group that invests in infringement cases (a big assumption, I know) what sort of percentages are the norm for pre litigation settlement vs litigation type cases (is the contengency percentage less if a less costly licensing agreement can be arrived at)?
