There may be a risk of destroying international rights. It is important to have an agreement so there is clarity as between you. Have you ever thought of consulting an Intellectual Property lawyer you can trust. The non compete seems close to a good idea but may miss the boat as far as good interpersonal protection is concerned. Late legal advice usually costs and arm and a leg after things are all screwed up. You really have to find an Intellectual Property lawyer you can trust, or two of them.
