Patent Protection[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Patent Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Matus on January 18, 2001 at 09:53:05: A friend of mine wants to work on some of my ideas or projects with me, and he has some of his own. He wants both of us to worker together on these projects and said that sending the idea (as a proof of concept) to myself in the mail (and not opening it) and or notorizing it will gurantee it as my idea. He also said that I should have him (or anyone) sign a Non-compete (which I assume means he can not come out with a competing product) and a Non-disclosure. Will these things be enough to protect me?
