Dear Renee, It is not entirely clear what the question is. Onc cannot register a trademark on words that are descriptive of the subject. That would be like a patent. There is a 20 year limit to patents. Trademarks are foreever as long as they are in use. I've got a shaving cologne I use whose trademark is over 200 years old. M. Arthur Auslander
