So are you saying that Jane Blur can be turned into a trademark and if someone uses her name in their fan fiction, that they are violating the trademark right?

Can you explain to me how a person's name be a trademark? Lets say Jane Blur is a blonde and wears glasses on the tv show, but your Jane Blur has short black hair and doesn't wear glasses. Is the writing still violating the trademark?

If the writer doesn't make their Jane Blur just like the one on tv, all they are doing is borrowing the name, am I right?
