Situation:
Say a University with an identity crisis abandoned a logo 25 years ago. They do not seem (at least as far as I can tell) to have trademarked this logo. They are now 4 logos and a quarter of a century later and not looking back. Now say a bored graduate of the University wants to open a bar with the school's old logo as its own and Trademark it. Is this possible? The logo was only used for a few years by the athletic program, and the bar would not use the University's name. The logo is pretty vague.
