If there are any problems with the application, this time period can easily extend to a yaer adn a half to two years. Although six years seems excessive, from your posting, it appears that you are really processing two applications. The first appears to have been rejected (A recent application I filed received a final rejection on essentially the one year anniversary of being filed, however in that case, we filed our response to the Office Action within one week of receipt. Any delay on filing the response will create a similar delay on their processing). It further appears that you challenged the process for an extended period of time. All of these will create additional delays. At this point, if your application is deemed acceptable, you should expect aproval within approximately 9 months from the date of filing. : Al Kelley : Albert L. Kelley, P.A. : : I began the trademark redtape mess in 1993 and my mark is still going through their tangle. Is it pathetic? Six years in August! They will not just do it-it's crazy. They had abandoned my application then after I sent them letters every month for almost a year-now they accepted resubmittal and it's going through again on the Supplemental Register-perhaps.. they're yet to give me another reply. : : Any advice on getting them to work?
