Trademark Office Drags Its Butt

I began the trademark redtape mess in 1993 and my mark is still going through their tangle. Is it pathetic? Six years in August! They will not just do it-it's crazy. They had abandoned my application then after I sent them letters every month for almost a year-now they accepted resubmittal and it's going through again on the Supplemental Register-perhaps.. they're yet to give me another reply.
Any advice on getting them to work?
