We are located and incorporated in Canada. : The site's domain and services were established in 1996. Due to it's success a number of copycat sites have been registered: : How can we make sure that others can't use our name, and what are the odds of Serbian Cafe receiving a trademark? If granted would it apply to US and Canada only, or globally? : Thanks much Dear Mr. Kuzmanovic, Register a trademark or service mark to prevent use by others. The odd are not clear until we know what the name is used for. Registrations are national so local registrations are necessary. There is some treaty protection. It is complex too much to write about by hyopthesis. There are different rules for domain names and things that may be able to be done. M.
