Very, Very tough. Get the law degree. Law firms are pyramid structures. The billing associate (or agent) gets typically 28%, the partner gets anywhere from 32% to 45% of what the underling bills, and the law frim gets the rest, typically 30% min. Since an associate attorney bills out at ~$80 to >$200 per hour MORE than an agent, associates are preferred (even though as far as prosecution goes an experienced agent is typically more competant than the associate). Which would you rather have, 35% of $180/hour, or 35% of $280/hour? Ever wonder why pyramid scams are not legal and law frim structures are.......
