Friends been arrested need english translation..[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Patent Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Ben on July 22, 2003 at 21:14:10: well, the charges translated into plain english: i'll copy and post the message with charges. sorry, this is australian law But my close friend has just been arrested.. hes a lawyer himself, I just dont understand what he has actually done but hes asking for help from me.. more of money help.. I will list what the charges are and if you can spell it out in english for me I'll just move along.. charge on 8 counts of forgery with circumstances of aggravation.. ( I understand forgery, but not the phrase circumstances of aggravation) 6 counts of forgery, 1 count of attempting to obtain money, 1 count of dishonestly obtaining property, 1 count of uttering a false document and 1 count of dishonest appilcation of property. if this is complete wrong to be here, could you suggest a online law advice forum.. this is a very old friend that I've known since we were about 3-4 years old, now we both just turned 30. Just shocked, I want to help my friend, but it sounds like hes been dishonesty and more then likely deserves what he gets... but, if some one could put this into english for me I would be highly thankful..
