thinking about Law School with a B.S. Civil Engineering[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Patent Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by John D on June 23, 2003 at 05:12:40:
I have a question about relevant technical experience if I want to go to law school and pursue a career in patent law. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in civil engineering and have had a year of work experience since. Is my civil engineering degree adequate/beneficial or does it just matter that I have any engineering degree( first 2 years, at least at Virginia Tech were the same for all engineers)? Any comments from anybody in the field would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
