Maybe Licensing is the way to go rather than
prosecution. That way you don't have to sit
for the patent bar, only a state bar.

Though the PTO accepts the EIT, that alone,
or equivilent course work, is far too thin
to competantly represent clients in engineering.
Patent Practioners are subject to malpractice
suits just like doctors and general lawyers.
