: hi, : and of course the main objective is to make money by selling the idea : Let me explain : imagine that all the banks in the world do not issue account statements to their customers. : Now comes the real problem. : 1.what should i do? go and talk to a bank guy about this new feature.and if he is satisfied, then ask for money for telling him this idea. : and ..etc ..... : please reply, : thanks Dear Jacob, You are between a rock and a hard place. To protect the idea it must be kept secret. To get somone to look as it they have to sing a confidentiality agreement. It is not easy to get a signature and particularly for a "pig in a poke". It has been done and can be done but it is not usually easy. If it is patentable, then there is more to sell. JUst getting a patent is expensive. An patent may not give the protection you need. Our Reality CheckŪ homes in on problems such as this. M. Arthur Auslander Auslander & Thomas-Intellectual Property Law Since 1909
