Dear Isabel,
Whether you like it or not or can get the information you need, it usually takes the imput of an Intellectual Property Lawyer you can trust. If it were a medical issue it would be the same. You need a doctor you can trust. It's not easy to practice medicine from Gray's Anatomy even if the answers are there.
