: : : Hi all,
: : : I am reaching a critical point to choose my career. I got a engineering Ph.D from an ivy leage school and worked in a high tech company for one year. Due to family relocation I moved to Midwest. Now I have a chance to go to law school to study IP law. I am not native american and english is my second language. I am new to this field. I would like to know if this is practical for me? Or, how much are the odds for me to land a very good job in this field if I get good grades in law school? I know IP is one of the fast growing areas, but is it still promising?

: : : I really appreciate if any one could guide me on these questions.

: : : Thanks.

Dear MuMu Cn,

I'm no authority to answer your questions in detail. It is my belief that if you like the work you cannot lose. The language barrier may slow you down but should not stop you.
