: : Hi all,
: : I am reaching a critical point to choose my career. I got a engineering Ph.D from an ivy leage school and worked in a high tech company for one year. Due to family relocation I moved to Midwest. Now I have a chance to go to law school to study IP law. I am not native american and english is my second language. I am new to this field. I would like to know if this is practical for me? Or, how much are the odds for me to land a very good job in this field if I get good grades in law school? I know IP is one of the fast growing areas, but is it still promising?

: : I really appreciate if any one could guide me on these questions.

: : Thanks.

Thanks. I do not know if it is the right area for me to jump into. I have BSEE and Ph.D in material science. The industry in which I worked is a sibling of semiconductor industry and I also have a strong background in computer science. Do you think there will be a increasing demand for computer related patent lawyer? Pleae enlight.
