Consider: company A, supplier of B, develops and sell specialized equipment used in company B process. B has the technology for its process. If they share their expertise, they can develope an application for Company A equipment, specific for company B process, obtaining better results. So B contracts A as consultant, pays for engineering work, provides its facilities and process know-how, so an existing equipment from A can be modified as needed. A considers the developed product belongs only to it, and B considers it belongs only to its process know-how. How cand this situation be solved?. F Varela
