: A patent search is necessary. The search will not show pending applications. Under a new law applications will soon be publiished after 18 months. : A patent search is not inexpensive. We start with a Reality Check. : The Reality Check goes into what you have what you can do with the idea, what you can do without a patent, how to promote and sell. : Even if it looks as if you can get a patent, we may not recommend a patent search if it does not look as if you can get any benefit from a patent. : The Reality Check costs $250.
