The search will not show pending applications. Under a new law applications will soon be publiished after 18 months. A patent search is not inexpensive. We start with a Reality Check. The Reality Check goes into what you have what you can do with the idea, what you can do without a patent, how to promote and sell. Even if it looks as if you can get a patent, we may not recommend a patent search if it does not look as if you can get any benefit from a patent. The Reality Check costs $250.
