Dear Sir, My husband and I are in the planning stages of building a board game(s) aimed at the primary educational audience (grades 1-6). We need some information to protect ourselves. The plan is to get the proper legal protections in place (i.e. trademarks, patents, copywrights) so when we develop and preview our game, we are protected. This idea can be expanded upon for areas of education, and we believe with the proper protections in place for the original game, follow-up games can be developed safely without much fear of plagarism without means of reprisal. Are we correct? What are the first steps we should take? How developed and able to display does our game need to be to get started developing our legal game plan? Thank you for any help you can give us in this forum. Carra
