I wrote lyrics for a song (no music). What is the process and probable cost for getting them copywrited? Thanks

Look at some of the previous discussion in this forum about the same topic.  There is one long thread called "copyrighting lyrics" that has both long and short answers to your question.

Also copyright is about "rights" rather than "writes" which makes it a little easier to remember the correct spelling.
