Hair products Patent
« on: 04-21-21 at 07:43 am »

Can one company develop an hair product like a shampoo that has the exact same ingredients as another existing shampoo if that formula is not patented?
And to find out if a shampoo is patented should I just look at the USPTO patent database?

The shampoo product in question has all its ingredients posted publicly in their website, and obviously in the label of the physical product as well. All the ingredients are natural products or common chemicals found in most shampoos.
So can a company start selling a shampoo with the same ingredients with no problems if the company of the original product will discover it?

Thanks in advance for your help,
