Just making sure: No excess claim fees in provisional application

Applicant filed a provisional application in a foreign language. The USPTO sent a notice that an English translation had to be filed. The 12-month deadline for filing a non-provisional based on it is coming up, and the translation has to be filed for the provisional.

The translation shows excess and multiply dependent claims.

I just wanted to make absolutely sure: That doesn't matter and there are no extra fees for excess claims in the PROVISIONAL application - right? I know they have to be trimmed down for the non-provisional.

37 CFR 1.16(h)-(j) each say "other than a provisional application."
