POA for an issued patent
« on: 03-20-17 at 09:53 pm »

Hello - If an issued patent gets re-assigned and the new owners want to update the patent with their chosen patent person, does an updated ADS still need to be filed (along with a signed POA from the new owner and also a 3.73 statement signed by the new patent person)?

Thank you,
Jonathan

In my off-the-cuff opinion, no.  The patent is out of the Office unless somebody drags it back in (e.g. IPR).  At which time you can address it in the response.  New ADS unlikely, no application anymore.
