buying artwork/clipart/etc and at a later date sell it off

If I were to buy a collection of say clipart and tho the in the package says I can not resell them can I thru the sale of first doctrine or some other type of if I buy it I can do what I want with it. Does this type of law differ from state to state ? In Fl if that were to matter.
And as long as I sell the entire set and delete everything from any and all computers I might have installed on  and have no backup copies ?
I hate to spend 3 bills  plus for artwork then when finished with it couldn't recover some of my money back as long as I did it legitely (sp).
