Of course it was easy to stop the spam by preventing new registrations.  However that takes away the community feel of the forums.  We have updated the software to prevent postings that contain external links for users until they are approved.  Anyways, we will see how that works.

The IP wiki is now open.  Report any problems.

We have installed the new hardware and software on the server.  Be sure to report any problems.

We ran a simple test.  The same activity took 41 seconds on the new server and took 28 minutes and 25 seconds on the old server!!!!  The command was:  tar -x -f lawservertar -z -p

Comments on the forum software are welcome.

I have been having problems with the firewall recently due to increased traffic on this site.  I was wondering if anyone has been having problems getting through to the site.
