IP Forms and Agreements / I need some help clarifying some licensing issues

I am biding on a job to sell DVD recordings of high school marching bands preform at a battle of the marching bands. The bands all will have their sheet music liscensed and the host is going to be getting a performance license for each song. the issue is i have been told conflicting information on the need for us, the people selling the dvd's, to obtain synchronization license because the music is being recorded. any help setting us straight would be appreciated.
