searching patents involved legal proceedings

Hi All,

      Given the inventor's/assignee's name, how can i obtain any information related to the patents (No, current status) currently involved in any legal proceedings?. ???


       Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

If there's been a court decision, it should show up on Westlaw or LexisNexis.  I know IP Today publishes some suits.  And, there are services that track these things.  Depending upon the circumstances, you could contact the assignee, especially if you're in negotiations with them.  Don't know if PACER would find it for you, but that's another thought.
