Starting Salary for USPTO with JD and EE

I have been trying to find what the starting salary/pay grade someone would have who is entering work for the USPTO fresh out of law school with no prior work experience and a EE BS. thanks

you're lucky that you're an EE, that should secure a signing bonus of 6-10k without taxes for 4 years.  I have a friend who is a JD and he came in at a 7.  Which is about ~62,000 w/o the bonus if you come in at step 10.

If you have a JD they may offer you a starting position as a GS-9 step 10, which is a salary of about 74k, plus a signing bonus of 6-10k.

JD, EE, and wants to be a PE?
Either I need a new pair of glasses, or maybe I am getting hardening of the arteries with my advancing age.
