If one has developed and researched a method for building a new type of tourist lodging, is it patentable?  Included with the package are market studies, architectual drawings and designs, potental markets for follow-on products, and methods for the implementation and operation of the facilities.

I have no idea if that's novel or non-obvious (two requirements to be patentable), but I'm pretty certain that a method of building lodging (construction methods, right?) qualifies as eligible subject matter -- the type of thing that could be patented if novel and non-obvious.

However, if your method is novel only in the manner you persuade people to pay you money to build such lodging, you're facing an up-hill battle to say the least.

I hope that helps.

Regards.
