Can you add, or rather specify, color to a trademark application after its been filed thru a preliminary amendment or even thru an amendment that is in response to an office action?

Thanks,

Linda

If the original mark as filed showed color, or perhaps shading to indicate color, then you might be able to amend to claim color.  My question is, why would you want to do that?
