Prevent Patent sale
« on: 09-02-07 at 03:57 am »

We are Private Inventors from Germany. We have patents for a specefic sensor technology in US, CAN, AUS and EU. In Germany some investors and we ourselves have invest some million Euro into the exploitation of the patent portfolio. Currently we have a german licensee.
Now our problem: If we want to sell our patent portfolio in Germany there is a great interest during the first weeks. But after a time the sale will be refused by the potential buyer with strange reasons.
Our investigation showed that german banks were involved to prevent the purchase. In one case we have the information that a german bank paid 10 million Euro to a potential investor to prevent the investment in our technology. It seems that the banks see our technology as a threat for their investments in german companies.
A solution could be to go to other countries but for this we have nor more means.
What can we do now?

Why you restrict yourself to Germany? I suggest you to study the market potential for your patented invention in other European countries as well as US, CA and AU.

For going to these countries, list a number of companies from various disciplines who may potentially use your invention or are using technologies close to you invention in the specific sensor technology. Then approach them.

For this you may need to do a patent search to find out companies using close technologies.

You do not have a patent in other countries like India, China, Japan, Korea. hence companies there may not be interested in your invention, because they are free to operate there. I hope you are not aiming at those countries, so you did not file a patent.
