Country Code

Could someone help me in getting an idea about the suffix PA or PI or YU after these country codes such as MXPA, MXYU (MX is for Mexico) and MYPI (MY is for Malaysia), what PA and PI or YU stand for? Please let me know.

Where are you seeing those codes?  My first guess was that they were "kind" codes but they don't seem to match any kind codes I've seen before.  Here is a description of "kind" codes in case this helps:

Deepak, first of all I thank you for your response, and giving a thought to it.

Kind codes are of course, different that indicates the status/stage of a patent publication.

The codes I had enquired are really country codes, here is an example. This patent number can be opened through european patent office site or INPADOC accessed through any other databases.
