I am confused with the meaning of "invention made abroad" under 35 U.S.C. 184.  ??? How to define whether an invention is made in or outside the United States?

For an invention made in US, does it mean that all the elaborateness are made in US or the inventive idea is created in US?

what kind of  factors will have impact on its definition?
