I have been a practicing attorney for 10 years and would like to switch into IP law. I do not have a science background. I intended to obtain an LLM in IP law. While getting my LLM, I was going to take the necessary science classes to sit for the Patent Bar. The LLM program requires an externship, so I will have some experience. My goal is to take the LLM and science classes over two years. Any thoughts on my ability to make the career switch.
