Hi,

Does anybody know the patent numbers that are in question in a patent suit between Kodak and Sony?

Dear Bob from Europe,

The case was filed in the U.S. District Court for New York's Western District. You should be able to obtain a copy of the complaint there.

From what I've read in the news Kodak is asserting 10 patents issued from 1987 to 2003. Astonishing really, I would have thought Sony, and not Kodak, was the leader in digital photography.

Sony may well be the leader but they still may have stepped on a patent mine left by a smaller competitor.

Microsoft size and market position didn't prevent them from losing a $500 million dollar patent infringement suit concerning browser technology.
