Hello Mr. Hattinck.  Thank you for your reply.  I tried to send you an email, but it was bounced back, so I will answer you here.

Q1)  I am not one of those inventor companies that requires money to tell you what you want to hear.  If a product meets certain criteria, a license agreement is entered into.  Then, at my own expense I will take your concept, from prototype stage to packaging of finished product.   I will develop and execute the marketing plan.  Royalities will be paid as a % of units sold.

Q2) Patents are not necessary at this point of the conversation, but are important.

Q3) A good first step is to sign a Non-disclosure and Non-compete agreement.  Then we can talk about your idea.

Since receiving so many submissions, I am revising my search criteria to certain ideas.  Now focusing all efforts to ideas that are lawn & garden related, products that help people, especially our aging population and most of all, around the house - problem solver type ideas.

I have a patent both design and utility on a solar address and porch light.  It is bright enough to light entire entry way but best of all comes on at dusk off at dawn and illuminates the house address for emergency vehicles, police, fire dept and if you are out of town no worries it comes on automatically.  You can also turn it on likethe conventional porch light. easy to install 2 screws 2  wires and you are good to go.
