research triangle park patent agent?
« on: 09-29-06 at 09:08 am »

My husband and I are moving to RTP, NC in July '07. I have a PhD in biochemistry and plan to take the patent bar before I move. I would appreciate any job info about this area and getting started in this career.

There is a hot spot of IP boutique firms in the RTP area and many work in the bio area.

The cost of living is reasonable and salaries are competitive.

The weather is usually nice as well.

Look at Alston & Bird and Myers Bigel to start.
