petition to revive

I have two months to file a petition to revive, right? Is this from the date of mailing of the office response or 2 months from which I am notified that I failed to respond in a timely manner.

You have 2 months from the date on the Notice of Abandonment.  Good luck.

I think Lyza answered your question correctly based on your apparent facts, but in case anyone comes to this thread later, I'll expand on her response.  

You have two months to file the petition from the mailing date of the notice of abandonment or within two months of actual knowledge of the abandonment, if you did not receive the notice of abandonment and were "diligent in checking the status of the application every six months".
