If you have received a Notice of Abandonment, you have 2 months from the date of the Notice to file for reinstatement of the application or lose the application filing date forever.
You are apparently using the wrong fax numbers, and in any event, I would suggest that you NOT communicate with the USPTO via fax in regard to this matter as (1) faxes are not reviewed in a timely fashion, (2) your window of time to respond may be small, and (3) you have no way of knowing if your fax will be received and recorded in its entirety or correctly.
In addition, if you are unsure of what you are doing, I would recommend that you not try to do this on your own and secure the advice and assistance of a U.S. attorney as soon as possible. If you don't want help from U.S. counsel, you could try to email the Trademark Assistance Center at
usptoinfo@uspto.gov or call them at "800-786-9199 (IN USA OR CANADA) or 571-272-1000 for assistance from Customer Service Representatives and/or access to the automated information message system."
When using the automated system, "Select from the following options:
"Press 1 for trademark information and assistance.
Press 2 for patent information and assistance.
Press 3 for technical questions regarding the electronic business systems on the USPTO Internet site.
Press 4 for directions to the USPTO and mailing addresses.
Press 5 for other inquiries including Patent Search Facility information or to order general information publications.
You can also look up other telephone numbers online and additional information on our website on our addresses & contacts page and through our Site Index."
Your other option is to use the TEAS electronic filing system at
http://www.uspto.gov/teas/eTEASpageG.htm. The system offers two electronic petition filings, (1) a "Petition to Revive Abandoned Application - Failure to Respond Timely to Office Action," and (2) "Petition to Revive Abandoned Application - Failure to File Timely Statement of Use or Extension Request."
Do not wait to deal with this. I hope this helps you.
