If you want to keep some control over your idea and can handle the sales and marketing end, I work with inventors to get they're idea tooled up and ready for manufacturing.  All manufacturing is done overseas. I partner with inventors (they must have patent or patent pending), I handle all overseas development and manufacturing with no money out of your pocket, while the inventor handles technical from this end along with sales. I do have a salesman with 35 yrs. sales expierience who can assist for a commission on the sales end. Working this way, you get to share the lions share of the profit of your idea instead of a 2% royalty. Just another option.   hello Shari. I have a similar situation too. I have a great idea too. It's just that they want soo much money to get it patent, portfolio, licensing. i have already paid 300.00 hundred dollar to see if there was something similar. There is nothing similiar. I wish there was some way I sould sell it to a company and they can go ahead with the production of my idea. It just cost too much money to have done and they want a percentage in the end.

  I am a crafter by trade and have an idea that I would like to sell. It seems that all us little people have big ideas and not enough money to see the idea come to fruition. I have researched this product and have not found anything on the market like it.  Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have tried the crafting companies but, they won't pay for ideas even though I know this will make them money!!! Thanks for any help...

Hi all,

I had an idea some monthes ago about an accessory which would make any car more comfortable while driving.
I have been talking with maybe 20-30 persons, 80 per cent of them told me that they would buy it.
The product will cost less that 10 dollars in shops!
And every single driver could be interested...
I will make a prototype in those day, but I don't know if I should sell my idea, or try to devellope it by myself. I bet it's difficult to deal with car's company.
And I would love to protecty my idea....
