Can someone help me?

I recently finished post production on a short film, which I have all the signed releases from the participants, etc... in these releases it does not say that they can take a copy of the work and REEDIT it, or screen it, or put it on their websites. Someone is doing just that, and I would like to at least let them know that it is illegal (if it is) and try and get them to stop using my footage.... I mean if I was George Lucas, this would be a no brainer, so how does he or anyone else protect themselves from this?

Please advise.
