Multiple Classes?
« on: 06-05-06 at 05:59 am »

Will be filing for TM registration for a website.  (Domain name issues are not afoot here.)  Several possibilities for describing the website:
1.  The service of providing information in the field of ___ via the Internet.  Would I need to file in each field classification and pay separate filing fees?  E.g., furniture and housewares?
2.  Computer services, namely, providing on-line information in the field of ___ in class ___.  Same questions as above.

Application fees are per-class, not per description.  You should choose a G&S that accurately reflects the services covered by the mark.
