Getting a Trademark Law Job

So I am in NYC, and just finished Cardozo Law School, concentrating in intellectual property law.  The problem is I do not have a technical background, and want to get into soft IP law.  Does anyone have advice on how to find jobs in trademark and copyright?

Ah, another Cardozo Alum.  Welcom to the work force.

I graduated Cardozo in '92 and went into IP, albeit with an engineering degree under my belt.  My suggestion would be to find all NY firms with TM departments and send resumes.  There may be a particular "protocol" to follow in this regard, but that's the gist of it.

I have a good friend and TM attorney at Seward and Kissel down in Wall Street, so that's one firm you can try.
