Intent to use, Internet allegation of use
« on: 07-10-04 at 06:02 pm »

Hi.

Some time ago I filed an intent-to-use trademark application to cover a website pertaining to a particular industry. To that end, I modeled my application after an existing one.

The trademark description basically reads,

Quote
Providing information regarding (this particular) industry, namely, news and research including articles, industry events, help wanted ads, trends, industry contact directories, reviews, features and special reports over a global computer information network

I've already received one extension on it but it expires in a few short days.

I have two questions:

1) What possible specimens could I show, assuming I file the allegation of use digitally over the Internet, to prove that the mark has been used in commerce?

2) Do I just need a bare-bones site up and running with industry-related content or would it need to be so complete as to have areas dealing with everything specified in the application? (reviews, help wanted ads, etc)

Thanks
